Baby N & C in Memphis, post workshop

I took these of the babies while in Memphis at Memorial (May 2009). They are so adorable and so much fun to photograph. I was playing around with the aperture and iso settings a bit. After going over these with Laurie we figured out that I need some help with shutter speed settings and combining all three to get the best exposure. Also need some practice with the 50mm and lighting.

Photography Workshop

I really enjoyed the Photography Workshop by Laurie Bailey on Sunday 4/19.
I will be testing out some new tricks of the trade, ways to get some good shots.
After the class I went right home to pick on my favorite subject: jenna. She really doesn't mind.

I wanted to share some of my favorite photos. Last May I was able to take an all day photography workshop at Julia Dean in Venice called "How to use your Digital SLR". The class was great and gave me a ton of information. This was my first step towards beginning to take my hobby a little more seriously. I'm a bit overwhelmed right now with all the options that are at my fingertips.
